Mt. Pleasant Church offers Awana Clubs for kids on Wednesday evenings (September to May) for ages 3 through grade 6. All clubs meet from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.
Our Cubbies class is for preschoolers and focuses on introducing little ones to key Bible concepts through stories, songs, crafts, and playtime.
Sparks includes students in Kindergarten to 2nd grade and encourages kids to memorize verses while also providing an overview of key Bible stories.
Our Truth & Training (T&T) club helps students in 3rd-6th grade take a closer look at the Bible, learning how to apply its teaching to their lives.
Our Men’s Ministry focuses on discipling men in their walk with Jesus and how that relationship affects all other aspects of their life. One way we do this is through one-on-one mentorships. We are proud to be apart of Strong27 and have seen God moving through this ministry. We also meet on the second Thursday of every month for burgers at a local restaurant. Burger Night is an informal time of fun and fellowship. Our big annual event that all our men look forward to is the Men and Boys Campout.
Ladies Fellowship works to bring women together for times of refreshment, challenge, and to support one another in our spiritual walk. We sponsor social events to bring ladies together and have a banquet and retreat to allow times of interaction and spiritual encouragement.
Care Group Ministry
The purpose of our care groups is to gather the members of our congregation into smaller more intimate settings that help foster discipleship relationships. Some of our groups will study a particular topic, a book of the Bible, or even read a book together and come together to discuss it. We have groups in the Mount Joy, Manheim, and Elizabethtown areas that meet twice a month. Each group structures their meetings differently.
